Abstract

|
For the past three decades neuropsychologists have been interested in neuropsychologisal test batteries which assess brain damaged patients in clinical settings. The development of new testing methods to meet special needs in diagnostic evaluation, there has been a steadily increasing utilization of neuropsychologisal assessment techniques in neurology and psychiatry and an expasion of their scope of application into other fields such as education, behavioral medicine, and gerontology.
This paper was intended to review the structural and functional characterization of brain, and neuropsychological assessment.
